Our story

Luna Bakery opened in 1998 when Ana and Rui Luna turned an old fish shop in Alfama into a bakery with one wood oven. Today their daughter Marta runs the bakery with a team of six bakers. We still use the same sourdough starter, the same oven and the same recipes for pastel de nata that Ana learned from her grandmother in Belém.
